The median micro SaaS on the market makes 418 dollars a year
Not 418 a month. 418 over twelve months. That is the median across 2,200 companies listed for sale whose payment connection is live, so every figure is current. The mean is 23,442, and the distance between those two numbers is the only thing you need to know before comparing yourself to anybody.

The shape, in one line
20.9 percent of these companies earn nothing at all. Another 37.8 percent earn under 1,000 USD a year. The top 100 of 2,200 hold 77.8 percent of all the revenue.
If you have ever read a revenue average for this market and felt behind, that average was carried by a handful of companies you will never be.
Averages are the wrong tool here
Revenue in this market is not spread around a middle. It sits in a short head, so an average describes nobody and a median describes the typical case.
Founders use averages to decide whether to keep going, and buyers use them to decide what a company is worth. Both decisions get made against a number that is structurally misleading.
What you get
- report.html, ten percentiles from the 10th to the 99th, the concentration curve from the top 1 to the top 100, and medians against means for every keyword family with at least fifteen companies.
- data.csv, all 2,200 live connection companies in 20 columns, so you can cut it your own way.
- README.txt, every column defined, and the limits written out.
Who is and is not in here
This is the distribution of companies that chose to list themselves for sale and chose to connect a payment provider. It is not a sample of all micro SaaS, and a company that never lists is invisible to it.
Every declared field, age, team size, audience, is self reported and unverified. The revenue figures are not, they come from a connected provider.
